It all began when I decided that I was going to take the summer off. It’s kinda like the time I told my wife “I’m going to quit this job, take the summer off, and start work again in the fall”. Well, in December, she reminded me that the summer was over. I dutifully trudged back to work. But there are other issues.

One is with WordPress. It’s not just WordPress, I have yet to find a blogging site that is a good fit for me. Maybe one day I will. Right now, the best way to see my ideas are to follow me on twitter @chart_analyst.

Another is with me – my investing style is morphing somewhat, and is no longer restricted to just weekly charts. Weekly charts are still the basis for my approach, but I do a lot of fine-tuning, especially on entries, on lower time frame charts.

And the last is with you. I find that people do not have much of an appetite for long-winded blog posts. They want a sound bite. Attention spans have fallen rapidly since the onset of social media. Hence more focus on twitter.

I may occasionally make blog posts here, but it won’t continue on a weekly basis. I see no reason to write a blog for the sake of keeping a schedule. You need to have a worthwhile idea, and something useful to say about that idea.
